SEA AND BEACH

In addition to the rich culture and beautiful nature, there is another reason why Andalusia is so popular as a holiday destination; the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol. Casa la Calera is just under an hour's drive from the coast. With a coastline of over 300 km, a beautiful golden beach is always close by. From popular large and wide sandy beaches to cozy, sheltered bays. Spend a day relaxing on a lounger under a thatched beach umbrella and enjoy the grilled sardines at one of the many restaurants on the beach, called ‘chiringuitos’. The clear water of the Mediterranean Sea has a pleasant temperature to cool you down during the warm sun-drenched days. Along the coast there are many small and larger places that are well worth a visit.

The various smaller beaches and bays of the fishing districts Pedregalejo and El Palo, with their cozy boulevard with nice restaurants and bars, are definitely recommended.

This beautiful old coastal port city is located on the Costa de la Luz on a peninsula and is one of the oldest cities in Europe.
